More evidence has surfaced that the Fort Hood killer was being monitored by the FBI and that, as shown in his emails, he was getting ready to do something of a terrorist nature.
This information comes from both Senator Carl Levin (D-MI), Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, and Senator Joe Lieberman (I-CT), Chairman of the Senate Homeland Security Committee.
This seems to be another case of little if any communications between the departments that are supposed to spot people like Nidal Hasan and prevent exactly what happened at Fort Hood.
The problem I see here is the ongoing inability of the Administration to stay on top of these types of incidents, coupled with the sloppy and questionable way they handle themselves under stress.
If this President has nothing to hide, why does he create the impression that he does? An attempt to slow or impede a full investigation at Fort Hood is taking place. Why do the President and those around him insist on creating the impression to many of us that they can’t be trusted? Many Obama supporters call those of us who doubt paranoid. We in return question the wisdom of your trust in this man who manipulates and plays with our lives.
Nidal Hasan did in fact murder innocent Americans. Our government, for whatever reason, seems to want to drag its feet in placing the blame, which is, after all, a foregone conclusion. Evidence exists that shows this terrorist act could have been avoided. Why is there a feeling that someone is trying to interfere with that evidence?

I also read that the FBI was tracking his email correspondence with a radical imam who mentored the 9/11 hijackers
When you say “if this President has nothing to hide,” you imply that he does have something to hide. Would you care to enlighten us on what that might be?
The “President and those around him insist on creating the impression to many of us that they can’t be trusted.” Really? They insist on it? Why would they do that?
You’ve said, more than once, that some consider you paranoid. You should give some thought to why that might be.

My reference to things the President would or has hidden was meant to reflect on his desire to step in and take control of the treatment of the Muslim prisoners instead of letting them face a military tribunal.
Obama and crew seem to have the opinion that the voters just don’t get it.
