Here is an audio recording of a March 22nd interview on the Thom Hartmann “progressive” radio program about school bullying. My related article is excerpted here.
I was speaking via cellphone from my home in Panamá, so my voice in the recording is more subdued and less distinct than Mr. Hartmann’s. It was a “fun” experience even though, or perhaps because, Mr. Hartmann and I seem to have different views of life, the universe, and everything. He also has his own obvious agenda (as I probably do). I had told the folks who set up interviews for Pajamas Media that I would enjoy an interview with someone holding different views than I do; I look forward to more. Due in part to the short time allotted, approximately ten minutes, I didn’t have as much opportunity as I would have liked to say what I wanted and had prepared to say.
In some respects, it was like an oral argument in court: there are always three versions: the one for which one prepares, the one given to the court, and the one that one wishes could instead have been presented.

Nicely done, Dan! I have to admit I’d never heard of Thom Hartmann before. Interesting how biased he is. He responds to the argument that things like bullying aren’t properly federal issues by claiming that conservatives don’t care about teen suicide. That’s bizarre beyond belief. Extremists are all like that, no matter which side of the divide they squat on.
Have you ever noticed that people who spell “Thom” with an “h” are invariably liberals? Same as folks called “Bubba” are always conservatives. Just sayin’….
Thanks, Tom
