My real name is very longer but i have changed it so you cannot not understand my name and be rascist. i have lived in America for 33 years and businness is good. when I move here from Arabia, war was going and much racism about. Now only people like you, who cannot see Arabs part of the world too. We are people with our beliefs. Some people kill white people, some kill black some kill arab. all good.
Dashing Dan
The Arab Spring is great example of how democracy isn’t for everyone. We, with our meddling, have opened a Pandora’s box in the middle east. Without the ruthlessness of iron fisted dictators the Arab nations are not very likely to show even a semblance of peace.
For what ever reason the term Arab Spring caused me to think of a book entitled The Silent Spring. The author, Rachel Carson, voices her concerns about man and his destructive nature. Her concerns centered on the environment and how mankind was affecting it. She predicted some pretty dire consequences if we continued down the path we were on. The same can be said about “The Arab Spring”. If we continue trying to implant democracy where it can’t work we are fools on a fools mission.
Abdul, you admit that you came here to be free of the turmoil in your native land. Is it fair to ask me to immerse myself in that from which you fled?
Dan, don’t you think its neat how the video used Bob Dylans music but different lyrics. I’ve been a Dylan fan since the beginning.(1962-1963). Watched him last night on VH1. It was an old taping of “The Bands” last concert. Really brought back good memories.
Sure would be great if I could edit.
Never see all the typo’s no matter how hard I try.
Larry, Yeah, but I think some of Jimmy Buffet’s stuff — or maybe this would have been pretty good as well.
