Trevor Dane

I have worked since 2007 as the Office Manager/ Program and Development Director at The U.S.-Baltic Foundation (USBF), a Washington, DC based NGO specializing in promoting stronger economic, political, and cultural cooperation between the United States and Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Prior to working at USBF, I taught English and business skills for two years at a private language center in Belgrade, Serbia. I received a degree in political science from American University in 2005.

I am an avid reader of anything politics and international affairs. After living and studying in Brussels for four months while at AU, I developed a strong interest in U.S.-European relations. This experience was the impetus for my desire to live and work in Serbia for two years after graduating. Living in Belgrade was a fascinating experience that taught me a great deal about the region’s history, culture and business environment. During my time at USBF, I have been able to work with U.S. and Baltic diplomats and Ambassadors, as well as business and cultural leaders to initiate programs and events that help strengthen the U.S.-Baltic partnership.

I am a die-hard baseball, and specifically a New York Yankees, fan. In addition to baseball, I also enjoy watching and following football and golf. I love to travel both domestically and internationally. I am very involved with my church, and I volunteer in the D.C. community through a program called Sunday Suppers.
